Formulated for the weather it lives in
Perfume behaves differently in heat and humidity. A fragrance composed for a cool, dry climate can vanish or turn within hours of an Indian summer.
House of Sultan starts from the other end. The fragrances are formulated for Indian climatic conditions first.

What software did not teach me
Everything else on this site can be redeployed in a minute. This cannot.
A physical product has a formula to get right, a bottle and a box to design, a supplier to rely on, stock to hold and a parcel that has to arrive intact. Each one is a decision you live with for a whole batch. There is no hotfix.
It has made me a more careful builder of software, too.
